Exercises That You Can Do In Your OfficeDaniel Brody
Sometimes, your calendar becomes so full that hitting the gym is an impossible thing to do. This is a big problem because in order for you to stay fit and healthy, you have to engage yourself in physical activities. So if you want to burn calories at the gym but too busy to do so, here are some exercises that you can do in your office.
Take the stairs
Stair climbing is a great way to improve your cardiovascular fitness. It also increases leg power, improves the amount of good cholesterol in your blood, and helps you maintain healthy bones. Taking at least two flights of stairs daily can lead to six pounds of weight loss over a year.
The Twinkle Toe
To do the twinkle toe, tap your toes on the floor under your desk. You can start slowly then increase your speed as time passes. If you want to do it standing up, do it in front of a small trash can, lift your legs, and tap your toes on its edge, in a soccer-drill fashion.
Take a stroll
Sitting in front of your computer can lead to weight gain. Have a mini break, wander around the office, and socialize for a few minutes. You can also get out of the building to breathe some fresh air. Not only does it help you release stress, it also gets your body moving.
Wall sits might seem like a simple exercise, but it is a great way to build strength and endurance. And the best part is you can do it in just a minute! Stand against the wall, bend your knees, and slide back down the wall until your thighs become parallel to the floor. Do this for 30 to 60 seconds a day in your office. You can do this with your officemates to easily pass the time!
Do the seated leg raiser
While seating on your chair, straighten one or both legs and keep them still for five or more seconds. After a few seconds, lower your legs but do not let them touch the floor. If this bores you, add a briefcase for added weight. Repeat this for 15 reps everyday.
Staplers are truly a magnificent invention. It helps you get stuff done at the office and surprisingly, it helps you stay fit as well. To do the stapler curl, put it in one hand with the palm facing upwards. Then bend your elbow and curl your arms towards your chest. Pause for a short while then lower the stapler back down. Do this for 12 – 15 reps before switching to the other hand.
Yes, even a simple lean can help you lose or maintain your weight. Lean against the wall with your forearm as the only support for your body. Then lean into wall until your upper arm touches it, then push it back out. Repeat this for 15 reps daily.
A fun exercise indeed! Sit tight on your chair, position yourself at arm’s length, raise your feet, then let the chair roll with your feet off the ground. Repeat this for 20 times. And make sure to do this with your office mates to increase the fun!
When you are dedicated to be fit, there will be no excuse to ditch exercise even if you are very busy. Even if you are outside, in your home, or office, spend a little time doing physical activities. Though these exercises might seem very simple, with the help of hcg shots, you will see its benefits by having a strong and fit body.
